UU Beliefs and Principles

Sunday services
Sunday services begin at 10:00 a.m. When you enter the Church you will be welcomed by a greeter and invited to sign the guest book. Our services, which last about an hour, contain music, announcements, a children's story, the singing of hymns, readings, and a sermon. Click here to see a typical Order of Service. At the conclusion of the service you are encouraged to introduce yourself to the ministers as you leave the sanctuary. Afterwards you are invited to join us in Deale Hall for coffee and conversation.

Children's Participation
Children join the adults in the sanctuary for the first part of the service. After the children's story, they go downstairs to their classes with their teachers. Parents are welcome to accompany their children at this time, especially when visiting for the first time. Child care for babies through three-year-olds is available during the entire service.

How We Dress for Sunday Services
Most members dress casually but nicely, others get dressed up. Wear what seems comfortable for you.
