This quilt was lovingly and expertly made by Susan Halvorsen with help from Sandi Campbell, Jean Babb, Ann Marie Marshall, Rhea Overley, Leigh Lakey and Pat Tollesfrud and quilted by Barb Lang of FarmhomeQuilting.

It is a queen sized bed quilt measuring 108" x 122". The pattern is called "Old Thyme Star & Chain" from a book of scrap quilt patterns. The banner and star border was included in the quilt design. It has been appraised at $3200.

Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and can be purchased at the church during Trash or Treasure week (March 10-16) and at Quilters Haven (located near the church) after that. 6000 tickets have been printed.

The drawing will be held at the church on May 4, 2008. The winner need not be present to win.
