Caring Ministry
We join religious community so that we might be loved and love one another. At the Unitarian Universalist Church, caring for one another is an important part of our ministry.

  • Our Senior Minister, the Rev. Matthew Johnson-Doyle, provides pastoral care to members and friends of the church. Matthew devotes most of his pastoral energy to connecting with new and returning members, death and dying, crisis, and rites of passage.

  • Eight Pastoral Care Associates provide pastoral care to members and friends who need someone to talk to in times of transition, isolation, or concern.

  • Our Member-To-Member Ministry provides compassionate aid and connection when church members and friends need meals, a ride, a card, or a social visit.

  • And, of course, many members and friends connect with each other through their covenant groups or other programs -- VSP, the choir, adult programs, even church committees.
